With more than 1,300 miles of Forest Roads and Trails, it's easy to explore the beautiful landscape of the Shoshone National Forest. Bike travel is permitted on multi-use trails and open forest roads.
The Dubois Badlands are located to the east of Dubois and encompass 4,250 acres of BLM managed land. The area offers a wide array of scenic views and trails to ride. We highly recommend that you stay on established trails while exploring this area and definitely bring hydration. The best access to this area is from the Dubois dump road.

Located in the town of Dubois, the 4.2 mile trail was designed for riders of all skill levels. From casual riders to rippers, the trail network has something for everyone. Made to be ridden from the top down, the trail offers 639 feet of downhill action.
